Biography The Almost Acoustic Band’s debut performance was in February of 2002 in Jensen Bch, FL. In the bands short-lived 2 years of playing and touring together, they performed over 200 shows along the East Coast. AAB was a trio made up of Billy Gilmore (Banjo,Fiddle,Mandolin,Guitar,Dobro, Vocals), Josh Foster (Piano,Bass,Organ, Keys,Vocals), and Brent Hopper (Guitar,Mandolin,Vocals). Fusing many influences together ie: Bluegrass/Reggae/Jazz/Blues/Swing/Inst umental songs and tunes, they quickly gained interest. Their techinque & approach to music was different and catchy. The Band last performed in South, FL in April 2004 & went on individually to pursue their crafts... Josh recorded a lot of AAB performances at home and on the road archiving them. He released a few online and people started downloading them vastly. There have been a lot of reviews & interest building on AAB and how to get a hold of more of these shows.
